Women and girls make a unique and vital contribution to society. When they have the opportunities to realise their potential, the possibilities are endless.
In many parts of the world, girls face multiple barriers to education: distance to school, gendered cultural norms and practices, gender-based violence and early or forced marriage. Two trailblazing women, President Dr Joyce Banda and Dr Pamela Lomoro, share their experiences and discuss what women and girls can achieve – for themselves, for their communities, and for the world – when those barriers are broken down.
